If you have booked a class with us, or are coming to collect an order or visit us for a consultation (which has been booked in advance), follow these instructions to find us in Studio 303 of The Zellig Building within the Custard Factory complex in Digbeth. It's best not to 'drop in' if you'd like to talk to us as we might be busy teaching classes, or out on deliveries - it is always best to call or email us first.
For GPS devices, use the postcode B9 4AT. This will bring you to the Custard Factory, which is a large complex spanning a couple of streets (Floodgate Street, Gibb Street and Heath Mill Lane). There are lots of pay & display car parks in the area, and free parking on Floodgate Street (if you can find a space). When you arrive, you must report to the main reception on Gibb Street - this is the pedestrian street where shops such as '7 Sins Cafe', 'Klink' and the cafe 'Yumm' can be found. The Reception entrance is through the glass doors to the right of 7 Sins Cafe – walk through the large atrium with large sculptures hanging from the roof and glass elevated walkways. The Reception desk can be found at the far end of the atrium- you must report here to gain access to our studios. Access is gained via the main Reception who will call us, and you will be met here by a member of the Chitty's team.
If you have any problems finding us please give us a call
More information about the Custard Factory itself can be found here: http://www.custardfactory.co.uk/ You will find a lovely cafe called 'Kanteen', a bar called 'Clink' where you can enjoy craft beer, an independent cinema (with its own bar and restaurant) called 'The Mockingbird' and a variety of independent shops, so allow some extra time for your visit to explore this unique area of Birmingham.
